Physiology and pathology
I help students organize mechanisms into coherent patterns that can be recalled, explained, and applied.
Medical educator · Musician · Christian ministry
My work brings together physiology, clinical reasoning, and responsible AI-guided learning in doctoral health-professions education.
About
I am a medical educator. My work connects foundational biomedical science with the reasoning students need for real clinical decisions. My teaching emphasizes physiology, pathology, case-based learning, and the disciplined habit of explaining not only what is happening, but why.
My teaching experience spans anatomy, physiology, pathophysiology, pathology, electrocardiography (EKG), nursing pharmacology, and medical terminology. This breadth informs my emphasis on connecting foundational science with clinical reasoning.
My current work explores how thoughtfully designed AI can support—not replace—faculty judgment, student collaboration, and the development of transparent clinical reasoning.
My life also includes music, worship, and Christian ministry. I share music arrangements, Bible studies, and cantata videos through my online channels and ministry website.

Areas of focus
I help students organize mechanisms into coherent patterns that can be recalled, explained, and applied.
I design cases and learning environments that reveal how students interpret findings, compare possibilities, and justify decisions.
I explore AI as a structured guide for inquiry and reflection while preserving instructor oversight and student responsibility.
Selected work
My current projects combine curriculum design, collaborative case work, and careful evaluation of AI-supported learning.
Clinical-reasoning education
I developed pRoBe to help students explain and refine their reasoning during collaborative clinical cases through AI-guided Socratic questioning. Session transcripts and instructor analytics support review and feedback. I have tested and refined the platform for more than a year and implemented it in the classroom across four academic terms and two courses.
I design curricula that combine flipped learning, case-based laboratories, and preparation for professional board examinations.
I study feasibility, reasoning processes, implementation, and the responsible use of AI in healthcare education.
Music, Worship & Ministry
My Christian faith is central to my life. Through music, Bible teaching, and worship communities, I seek to serve others and share my faith in Jesus Christ.
I bring together my ministry work, instrumental albums, and musical projects here.
